There are a few ways to go...
Option 1:
choose any light or vibrant* color that you LOVE your child in! (Light or vibrant colors will really pop against the black.)
In particular, colors that bring out your child's eyes can be particularly striking.
Option 2:
If you'd like your child's FACE to be the most eye-catching part of the photo, choose a darker colored shirt/top.
Option 3:
Create a lasting memory...
let your child choose an outfit that's the epitome of their style, that truly reflects who they are!
(This hot pink Batgirl outfit was my daughter's clothing of choice for an entire year. If she was allowed to wear it to school, that would've been her school picture that year! :)
Things to avoid...
Big, bold graphics and neon colors can detract attention from your child's face, so unless they're a key part of their signature style (Option 3), try to avoid those.
