Does your teen have acne?
Here are some tips for getting great photos, acne and all...
1- Lighting.
Soft light is more forgiving... in my sessions I always use the softest light possible.
* This means the sun will be shining on your teen's back.
Cell phone photography tip for backlighting: aim your camera, then tap on your teen's face to make your phone-camera capture the light on their face rather than the background.
2- Use Portrait Mode.
When taking photos with your phone, Portrait Mode softens skin textures and makes blemishes less visible.
3- Retouching.
For school photos, you can add Retouching services to your photos directly from your viewing gallery for $10/ individual photo or $25 for all of your photos.
- Select the photo you'd like retouched
- Click the shopping cart icon
- Choose the $10 Retouching option for an individual photo, or $25 to retouch your whole package of multiple photos.
- (Note: this fee only covers the retouching itself; be sure to also add whatever prints and digital copies you'd like of the retouched photo to your shopping cart.)
If it's not obvious what you'd like retouched, just email me to let me know specifically what you'd like done: midorijoy@gmail.com
Want more than 1-2 photos retouched?
- Click the Packages tab at the top of your screen
- Add the "Retouch all" package for $25
This covers retouching of all photos (of 1 child)* in your shopping cart.
(Note: the fee only covers the act of retouching itself; be sure to also add your desired prints/digital copies of your photos to your shopping cart.)
*To retouch more than 1 child, please add a Retouching package for each child.
4- Embrace it!
Another option is... just embrace it!
Cherish what your teen looks like, hormones and all! This phase won't last forever! One day it'll be something to look back on and remember. :)
