Wear glasses?
Here are a few tips for getting great photos, glasses and all!
1- Clean your lenses!
Clean lenses make a big difference and help your beautiful peepers be clear and in focus!
2- Getting new glasses?
Spending the little extra for AR (Anti-Reflective) coating is totally worth it!
Usually around $40, not only does the AR coating let your beautiful eyes show by preventing glare in photos, it also reduces eye strain, improves vision, and makes your eyeglasses look more attractive.
3- Have transitional lenses?
Consider having a spare (non-transitional) pair on hand for outdoor photos.
Zenni optical has great frames, starting at only $6.95.
If cost is an issue, get just the frames so that you'll still look like your glasses-wearing self AND your eyes will be visible in outdoor photos!
OR while waiting to have your picture taken, keep your glasses inside your sleeve or in a pocket, then put them on at the very last minute before I take your photo.
4- Prevent glare with a simple chin tilt...
Don't have AR coating on your lenses? Tilt your chin slightly downward, or even lift the earpieces slightly higher above your ears to eliminate the glare from flash photography or bright direct light.
BUT... if DO have AR coating, this won't even be necessary! (Get the AR coating! It's so worth it to SEE your eyes in every photo you take!)
